Customer Reviews

I was surprised how well this worked! Now it's my favorite.5
I use mostly earth friendly cleaning products in the house, and I was glad to stumble across this product. Not only is it less expensive that regular dishwasher cleaners, it works just as well if not better than them.

The packaging seemed incredibly small, about the size of a 7-11 Big Gulp cup, so I quickly poured a canister into an empty cup and brought out my Cuisinart measuring tablespoon and found that there were in fact 59 loads worth of powder (at 1 tablespoon per load), although the tared weight on the powder did exceed 2 lbs by a couple of ounces. That is not really a big deal to me, and if you're using a flatware tablespoon you'll probably get a bit more than 64 loads out of the canister.

I purposely left a dinner plate overnight with dried on cheese and a knife with peanut butter residue on it so I could test the effectiveness of this product. When they were loaded into the dishwasher with a full load this powder managed to clean the dishes spotless without using any added heat or prewashing like I normally would with a standard cleaner.

I have so far washed a few loads with this powder and every dish has come out clean except for one bowl still had one spot of dried on chili.

The canister says that if you have hard water you will need 2 tablespoons, and 1 tablespoon for soft water, and I imagine you could adjust those to get it to work just perfect for you.

Best of all, this product is Made in the USA, and it's not tested on animals and it has no animal ingredients. The plastic canister can be recycled when you are done, and it claims to have no negative effects on rivers, streams, plants, or wildlife. It has no artificial fragrance, colors, or preservatives, and it's biodegradable and Ozone safe. The Grapefruit seed and Orange Peel extracts in this product are pleasant and not overwhelming to me at all.

The only thing I would recommend to Biokleen is that they sell a cleaning products package consisting of a 2 month supply of this product along with laundry detergent, general purpose cleaner, and window cleaner, plus any other best-selling cleaners they have. Most people do not want to order a 2 year supply of this at a time, and I have to admit that is what prevented me from ordering this soon. I wrote to them a couple of months ago suggesting this, but I have yet to see this offered at Amazon.

WORKS GREAT & MADE IN THE USA5
Very effective at cleaning dishes. Only takes 1 Tablespoon to wash entire load with no residues or spots. If residue is left on the dishes reduce the amount of cleaner and this will solve the problem. I like the fact that it's MADE IN THE USA & has environmental benefits. The smell is quite nice, but I like citrus smells. I've found this item cheaper at other online sites when it's on sale. If it's not on sale elsewhere Amazons price w/free shipping is the best. I'd like to see it offered in 6 pack cases as 12 containers should last anywhere from 12 to 24 months depending on how many loads you wash per day. Not sure about shelf life of storing the containers that long. Plastic container is nice because it can be recycled and doesn't allow moisture to enter as has happened with cardboard containers. I also use Ecover & think that both products clean the same but I prefer the Made in America brand given all the recent problems with products made overseas.

This is a great product5
I really like this detergent.....the package is smaller and is recyclable, which is always a plus. As far as cleaning goes, its performace is great! My dishes get as clean as they do with conventional detergents. The citrus smell is strong but not unpleasant......at least to me, if you are sensitive to scents, it might bother you. All in all a fantastic product!

Bamboo Dishtowels5
I recently purchased Bamboo towels for the bathroom and they are the BEST towels I have ever owned. They are soft, absorbant and very thick. I decided to buy the bamboo towels for the kitchen and they are just as thick and soft. They do not fray and they don't smell like other kitchen towels.

Wonderful!5
Best dishtowels ever! These are soft and absorbent, with a beautiful sheen. The color is exactly as pictured.

They soak it up and don't get smelly5
These are my favorite dish towels. Actually I use them more for hand towels in the kitchen. They get my hands dry remarkably faster and dryer than cotton and they last longer than cotton before they smell like they need laundering.

Top rated CReport review was correct5
Consumer Reports had this as one of the top rated dish soaps, I agree. My hands and lungs thank me for how gentle this is.

I was disappointed.3
This was supposed to be a years supply for my family of 7. Although I doubted it would last that long once the bottles were received, I would have been content if it would have lasted 6 months. However, out of 12 bottles we have already used four in just 8 weeks. Although I love buying green, I need something that works great so I don't have to use a bunch. I have had to rewash so many dishes with this soap, it's a waste of water. I have even bought special scrubbers, still no help. I never had this much trouble using Dawn or even Joy! I will not buy this product again.

LOVE, LOVE this product!5
I like the simple smell and non-greasy, mean-cleaning formula. For some reason, I'm also attracted to the packaging. Not sure why. I have added it as a permanent fixture with the rest of my organic/all natural cleaning arsenal.

Features

  • Tough on grease, gentle on your hands
  • Made with lemon and aloe vera extracts
  • No chemical residues
  • No animal testing; minimum impact on aquatic life
  • No artificial fragrances, safe for septic tanks, fast and complete biodegradability

Nice product that does what it advertises...4
Well this product even does a good job cleaning up fruit juice/vegetable juice stains inside my toddler's sippy cup. Yahoo. Thanks Cascade for making my life easier, especially since I've got dishwasher duty all the time. Shhhh... don't tell my wife I'm not working too hard scrubbing the plastic clean.

Great - Must Have Product!5
This product is amazing! I first bought it several years ago when it first came out in stores. Not only does it freshen your dishwasher but it also cleans the tomato based stains off of your plastics. It really does work and I would recommend it to everyone! Since I could no longer find it in stores, I was so happy to find it online that I bought a whole case of it. Well worth the money since it's cheaper than in the stores. Great buy!

excellent buy5
I just recently purchased my first tube of this plastic booster and was amazed at how well it worked! It was kind of pricey and only did a few loads but it took all the odor/red stains out of rubbermaid containers that have been stained for years that I was ready to toss. It also did an amazing job on the kids plastic cups/plates/bowls/etc that I never even thought about. Now that I've used it up I'm ready to buy a whole case of this stuff. My dishwasher looks better too!

Customer Reviews

Avoid this stuff1
As with another reviewer I'm also a resident of the Spokane Washington area affected by the recent implementation of the phosphate ban. Do yourself a favor and skip this stuff. Before the ban I normally used 7th Generation dishwasher detergent which I was pretty happy with. Unfortunately grocery day was the day after the phosphate ban, all that was left to buy was this planet stuff. It does such a poor job at cleaning that I almost wonder if the dishes would look better if I used no detergent at all. It's a shame to waste anything but as near as I can tell this product has no useful consumer value whatsoever. It gives a bad name to "green" products and in my opinion the only way it could possibly benefit the environment would be if they quit making it so that the exhaust wouldn't be generated transporting it to market.

Terrible Dishwasher Detergent1
Don't waste your money. This detergent is practically useless. You'd be better off hand-washing your dishes with dish soap. If you use this product you will have to run your dishwasher at least twice (the first time with the detergent), in order to dissolve the detergent and clean your dishes. That obviously presents a host of environment-related issues including water and energy conservation, which I think most people would agree are more important than the issue of phosphorous. The other big problem is the price. Here at Amazon it's not too much more expensive than normal detergent, but at local grocery stores it's about nine dollars per box - or about twice the price of normal detergent.

The only reason we bought this detergent is because we live in Spokane, WA. As of July 1, 2008 the regular (and effective) dishwasher detergents can no longer be sold legally in Spokane County, so this was the only detergent available at a recent trip to the grocery store. Incidentally, by July 1, 2010 this ban on detergents that supposedly contain too high a level of phosphorous will be effective everywhere in Washington State. I'm sure the big detergent manufacturers are going to be working on a low-phosphorus alternative, but until then we'll be buying our dishwashing detergent in Idaho, where apparently the governor and legislature have not yet dived off the deep end.

If you're really concerned about phosphorous then you should wash your dishes by hand and just use normal dish soap, which has always been phosphorous-free.

Horrible product that can actually harm the "Green" movement1
My company brought in an entire section of "Green" products for our customers. For the most part, our customers have been happy with the products and heck, why not use something that's better for the environment if you're getting good results. Then there is this awful product from Planet.

Every single box of the stuff we've sold was returned by customers who have now decided not to bother with "Green" products again. I tried it in my house, and it' absolutely the worst detergent I've ever used. I think the dishes and glasses would look better if I just let my dogs lick them clean. There is a film covering everything. When we're trying to get people to make smarter choices and consider the impact the products they use daily have on our planet, it's products like this that make it much more difficult to change minds. My company will never sell "Planet" products again.

BTW: You'll find no mention of this product on the companies web site. I guess they won't use it either.

Citra Dish Automatic Dishwashing Detergent, Powder

Citra Dish Automatic Dishwashing Detergent, Powder, Valencia Orange, 45-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12)
From Citra Dish

Serves our needs well4
I went out in search a new dish detergent with the following criteria

- an environmentally friendly product
- no plastic containers
- could be bought in bulk
- preferably eligible for Amazon's subscribe and save program

CitraDish fit all the criteria.

After going through a couple boxes of this I would say that we're happy with it. Our dishes are clean and I feel good about buying one less plastic container.

Get It All5
After I finally figured out it was my previous "green" products that were causing my glassware to become etched in the dishwasher, I almost had to give up and go back to standard products - several of my friends did. But fortunately at a local store someone recommended Citra-dish and it worked! A very good dishwasher detergent that was environmentally friendly and DID NOT ETCH THE GLASSWARE! I am about to buy online for the first time and I see that the box design has changed. My old store went out of business and no one else in my area seems to carry this product. So this review is based on that older box version - I trust the new box contains the same excellent product.

$71.39 strong citus smell3
This arrived with one bottle in the corner cracked and leaking powder. I am replacing my dwindling supply of Seventh Generation because 7thGen is packaged in cardboard and most of them were leaky. 7thGen had no smell which is fine because Cascade smells dangerous. BiOKleen's smell is hard to ignore.

P.S. after a few months, I have found this to be much better than 7th Gen. Dishes come out cleaner with this product than with 7th Gen.

cleaner than conventional detergent5
I love this stuff for my beach house, where we have a spetic tank near the ocean. The dishes come out super clean, and I sleep better at night knowing that I'm not poluting our groundwater. My experience is nothing like the other reviewers, perhaps the water type has something to do with it. I have been using the soap oceanside in NC.

same film problem1
We had the same problem with a film that was left on the dishes and took white vinegar to get off. I'd recommend a different natural dishwasher fluid. We've used 7th generation before and that seemed to work well.

Absolute waste of money1
This product leaves a foggy film on all dishes. I wasted more water getting the film off. I will never buy this product again.

How to Turn $4.39 Into $70.24! Or How to Buy Dish Liquid Only Once a Year!

Again with those titles - but it got your attention.

Turns out I only buy dishwashing detergent once or twice a year. I buy the best there is, in my opinion that honor befalls on Seventh Generation free & clear Natural Dish Liquid, which costs $4.39. Ouch - that is not cheap - but it is not petroleum based so it saves oil, and it is safe for the environment and your health. In dishwashing detergent that means a lot to me because let's face it we basically eat this stuff. Everybody with an even rudimentary understanding of chemistry knows that the dishes we eat from are basically coated in the soap they are washed with. It is also cruelty free and comes in a recyclable plastic container that was manufactured with 25% post consumer recycled plastic. Not a whole lot - but at least it's a start.

So now to the math part. I made a couple of assumptions - let's hope I don't make an ass out of myself!

I dilute my dishwashing detergent to about 1 tablespoon per cup of water. I have a rather nice looking bamboo hand soap dispenser at my sink - I was never a friend of having the dishwashing bottle right at the sink - somehow not a great look.

So I go through about 1 cup of diluted dishwashing detergent per week. The bottle with its 739 ml lasts about 50 weeks!

If I filled up the dispenser with straight up undiluted dish detergent it would last three weeks. I know that some of you might say you would use less if it was not diluted, but I doubt that. I just think you would wash it down your drain. Even if my math is slightly off - you will definitely be miles ahead budget-wise if you choose to dilute! The soap dispenser can be found at a dollar store or a discounter for under a buck and there are thousand of designs to choose from.

Anyway - I think this boils down to another item eliminated from your grocery list - except once a year - I guess we can all swing that!

Teach Your Teens The Zen of Dishwashing

“Water is the universal solvent” my seventh grade science teacher trumpeted with unmistakable reverence.

As with so many gems, this lesson is lost on young folks.

You have to reach the age of dishwashing, and more to the point, that pinnacle of cleansing responsibility when it’s your job to scour off baked on grease from pots and pans to appreciate the marvels of water.

Any veteran of Dish Wars can attest that it is no fun trying to remove encrusted salmon detritus from a broiling pan immediately after dinner. Letting the vessel settle overnight, with just a thin coating of soapy water will gently and silently do 99% of the work for you.

You’ll be astonished how angelic and gravity defying even the hardest sediment becomes under the quietly unrelenting persuasion of H2O.

But witnessing this transformation is a pleasure reserved only for the patient, the mature and the Zen-like among us. Teens cannot and will not wait long enough to watch nature take its steady, inexorable course.

They attack pans at the wrong time, wearing themselves out and sullying the entire kitchen in the process.

It’s sad to see strapping, 6 foot 4 inch boys, who could fell trees with dull axes, recoil from this duty and shout to the heavens, “I’m not Cinderella! Why are you making me do this?”

Another dishwashing insight that eludes teens is the fact that the machine is not a garbage disposal, and cannot be used as such, lest you want clogs in your piping that only drain doctors can remove with rooters.

Being the literalists they are, your sub-adults will wonder, “Why call it a DISHWASHER if I have to pre-scrub the dishes before I put them in?”

But this is just another Zen insight masquerading as a vexing absurdity, at least to a 16 year-old.

Why do we dress crisply and pretend to be well just before we visit the physician about our pesky colds? Isn’t it THEIR job to heal us, and not ours?

Of course, there’s a ton of Zen to be found in dishwashing, insights that could help teens and everyone else AWAKEN to deeper levels of living.

In fact, and you can announce this to your adolescents with true conviction:

DISHWASHING is the universal solvent!

Run Out Of Dishwashing Detergent?

No matter how much we stock up on household items when catching sales or buying products in bulk, there's always those awkward times where we run out of something. It's always neat to be aware of little tricks just to get by during those times, and I thought I would share a few ideas for when you might run out of dishwashing detergent and can't run to the store right away.

Actually, in all honesty, I don't even bother with purchasing actual dishwashing detergents. Being a soapmaker, I normally use my soaps that haven't lived up to my satisfaction and tend to be less moisturizing. (Different soapmakers have different styles and tastes- I usually aim my main focus on my recipes being more moisturizing than any other characteristics and can be a little picky when it comes to my own soaps in that aspect!) I find the ones that don't meet my personal expectation are great for washing dishes by hand without leaving residue or spots behind. They definitely last longer than a bottle of dishwashing detergent and I find they're even better with cleaning up extra grimy and greasy messes. If in a pinch, or just trying to save money here and there, any bar soap that's not heavily moisturizing can be an alternative to dishwashing detergents. Using natural based soaps are even better because you're also doing the environment a favor.

Another alternative is shampoo. If you read the labels, shampoos and dishwashing detergent don't really have a whole lot of differences in them. The key is "cheap" shampoos usually seem to work best and are actually cheaper in the long run in comparison to regular dishwashing detergents. From my experimenting in the rare times I resort to this method, my favorite for using it this way was VO-5's Kiwi Lime Clarifying shampoo. It only cost me about 79 cents for a nice sized bottle, doesn't contain extra silicones and junk in it that could leave a residue, and the citrus and rosemary extracts in it is great for cleaning and is also naturally antibacterial. (Not to mention it smells simply heavenly!)

Magic American Cooktop Magic Wipes

Magic American Cooktop Magic Wipes , 30-Count Containers (Pack of 6)
From Magic American

Customer Reviews

Surprisingly effective!5
I have a smooth top range and it seems as though I spend half my life cleaning it. I have all the fiber scrubbies, the special cooktop cleaner and the protectant, etc.

It's a mess to use all that every time I cook, but just wiping with a sponge often isn't enough.

I had never heard of these wipes before seeing them here on Amazon and what a pleasant surprise they are! They are rough on one side, enough to get off all but really crusty cooked-on gunk. Smooth on the other with a decent amount of cleaner on it to effectively wipe up the entire cooktop and the front of the oven, etc.

I have used them a couple of times now and the only thing that needs to be done after using them is to dry the top to a shine with a cloth or paper towel.

If you struggle with your smooth top, GET THESE. I have never seen them in a store. I know I will get my money's worth from these. And no shaking up the bottle!!

Product Description

These pre-moistened disposable wipes are designed with one side for scrubbing and one side for wiping. Specially formulated for use on all glass ceramic smoothtop\top cooking surfaces. It's safe and effective, cuts through grease and removes burnt-on deposits.

Dishmate Liquid Dishwashing Cleaner Earth Friendly Products

Earth Friendly Products Dishmate Liquid Dishwashing Cleaner, Natural Almond, 25-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 12)
From Earth Friendly Products

Customer Reviews

Clean and Natural5
I've really enjoyed using this product (for as much as you can enjoy doing the dishes) I started using it after reading Organic Housekeeping by Ellen Sandbeck. Since I was using a castile soap (Dr. Bronners) for hands and body, I switched to this product in the shower as well and just added pure essentials oils for fragrance.

Nothing Else Compares5
This is hands down my favorite dish soap. The stuff smells fantastic, is cruelty-free, environmentally safe, plus something else people really don't seem to think about much: non-toxic. I challenge you: try this product, read the ingredients, then go to your local supermarket and look at the stuff that's on the shelves there. You can't pronounce most of the ingredients, you don't know what they are, and if you smell the stuff, you know darned well you shouldn't be ingesting it or getting it on your skin. The days of having to compromise cleaning ability, style, smell, whatever your standards are in order to choose the eco-friendly, cruelty-free products are over and this product is one example of the proof. One you try it, you'll never buy that P&G, Unilever, etc... garbage again! You and your loved ones will be better off for it, too. The other products this company makes are great too, this is just my favorite one.

Earth Friendly; works well; smells good!5
I've signed up to have purchase this item on the subscription plan.

It cleans really well and a little goes a long way. The scent is lovely without being over the top.

Product Description

Dishmate gives pots, pans and other cooking utensils a bright luster. This natural almond scented liquid dishwashing cleaner from Earth Friendly Products contains no phosphates, dyes, or perfumes. Made with natural ingredients, the color and body of the cleaner may vary a little. This cleaner is not tested on animals and contains no animal ingredients. Made in the USA, Dishmate is biodegradable and recyclable.

Flawless results - Animal & Earth Friendly too!5
Flawless results - Animal & Earth Friendly too! It works perfectly and I only need a small amount. I do have a powerful water softener and a brand new dishwasher but I still find I need a rinse aid. Wonderful.

The Best Environmentally Friendly Rinse Aid!5
I purchased this rinse aid from another website to try before purchasing in bulk. After trying Wave Jet I decided to try Ecover and compare the two. At first Ecover seemed to do the job at a slightly lower price but after using for approximately 30 days my dishwasher appeared to stop drying the dishes. Each load came out of the dishwasher needing to be hand dried. I thought my heating element was going out but I had it checked and it was not the problem. A friend suggested changing rinse aids. Ecover worked fine to begin with so why would that matter? Well after loads & loads of water covered dishes it was time to refill the rinse aid dispenser. I added Wave Jet and the first load and every load since has come out of the dishwasher dry & spot free. I still have a case of Ecover to get through but I'll be using Wave Jet after that. It works, it's earth friendly, Amazon's price is close to if not better than the nationally advertised brands, and it's made in the USA-What more could you ask for?

Shipping disasters1
The box of 12 (plastic) bottles of Rinse Aid came with about a third of the bottles leaking/damaged, apparently from either poor packaging, packing or shipment. A replacement order was fulfilled swiftly at no cost (other than my trip to the post office), but seepage all over the packing box, as well as the outer Amazon box, once again forced a return for which I'm seeking a refund.

Outdoor Cooking While Rafting and Camping Articles

Cooking outdoors is a very easy task with a little preparation and planning. If you are planning a rafting or camping trip, there are a few things to remember before you head out to the wilderness, and a few things that can turn a great riverside camp meal into a tantalizing, mouthwatering treat.

First, check your cooking equipment and make sure it is clean and well organized before heading outdoors. Include common utensils and equipment like spatula, turner, large serving spoons, knives, forks, spoons, plates, bowls, cups, coffee pot, cooking pots, pans, (preferably cast iron skillet and Dutch oven), lids, and plastic bags. Utensils can be stored separately in plastic Ziploc bags or long, thin plastic containers with lids. Stack cups inside bowls and pots and pans to utilize all areas of space and remember, you can stack upside down too! Once the tools of the trade are collected, be sure that your cook stove is clean and all working parts are present, including propane, regulator, briquettes, matches or lighter. A few other essentials to include in the cook tubs are pot holders or gloves, foil, cutting board, clean dish towels and scrubbers, dish soap, garbage bags, bleach and a flashlight.

Secondly, plan a menu for each meal of each day that you will be cooking outside. It is easiest to plan the menu by days and meals. For example, Day 1: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks; Day 2: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks, etc. Once you have your menu planned you can easily make the list of ingredients that go into each meal or snack. Break the list into categories like meats, dairy, fruits, vegetables, dry goods and so on, until you have a complete list of supplies you need to pack. This list can also double as a shopping guide. Perishable items like meats should be frozen ahead of time and packed together in a cooler along with other items that need to be kept cold like milk or cheese. Be sure to pack frozen water bottles, or recycled juice bottles full of frozen water to keep ice chest temperatures cold. It is also a good idea to keep a small thermometer in the cooler so that you know temperatures are appropriate to prevent food spoilage. Crushed ice is added after everything else is packed into the cooler, and it is best to pack drinks in a cooler separate from the perishables cooler.

Now that everything is prepared and organized, a few other pantry items are pertinent to note. Add to the dry goods staples items such as salt, pepper, garlic powder, sugar in a mason jar with screwed down lid, an additional empty pint sized mason jar with lid, vanilla flavoring, other favorite herbs and spices including cinnamon and nutmeg, Pam, or your favorite brand of non stick cooking spray, tea, coffee and hot cocoa. These items can fit into a small storage tub with a lid and labeled as Preferred Pantry! In the cold cooler, be sure to add heavy whipped cream in a mason jar with lid, butter, milk and half and half.

Next comes the cooking. Take the time to organize the camp kitchen. Set up a hand washing station with water, pump soap and clean towel. Unpack tools and utensils so they are easy to reach, yet discretely out of the way. Prepare the garbage/recycle station before you start to cook. If you are using a small grill, set it up and check to make sure it works, and that you have placed it in a well ventilated area. Open coolers as little as possible to keep things cold. As the cooking begins, remember you are working at a slower pace than the stove at home. If using a campfire to cook, smoke will enhance and flavor meats and grilled vegetables with an unbelievably delightful flavor. When food finishes cooking, transfer to a plate and cover with a lid or aluminum foil to retain heat and flavor.

Finally, an impromptu treat of Same Day Cobbler is made possible by the supplies included in the pre-trip preparations. In August, there are many ripe blackberries. Pick a quart or two of the wild berries. Rinse and place the berries into a Dutch oven. Sprinkle with sugar and use about one tablespoon of butter and dot the berries. If berries aren't available, pack a can or two of peaches. After that, mix up the cobbler topping using the pancake mix you brought along. Add a few tablespoons of sugar to the mix, and mix with milk until t it is the consistency of a drop biscuit. Drop the cobbler dough on top of the berries or peaches. Sprinkle the top with a teaspoon full of sugar, put on the lid and bake in a Dutch Oven until you can see and smell the steam escaping from the top. While the cobbler is baking, fill a mason jar two-thirds full of heavy whipping cream. Add a dash of sugar, a touch of vanilla and screw the lid on tight. Now it is time for more fun! Pass the jar of whipping cream around the camp fire. As each person shakes it, watch your family and friends make whipped cream! When the Same Day Cobbler has finished cooking, serve with a little whipped cream. Enjoy!

Cooking outdoors can be very enjoyable and delicious. It contributes to the relaxing rhythm of an outdoor adventure and invites others to share in the work, or keep you company while you are cooking. Be sure to clean up, wipe down and store all unused food. Outdoor cooking is an integral element of rafting and camping. It enriches the experience, slows the pace and enhances the flavors of food. Enjoy what comes along and be sure to share the joy of cooking at the camp fire!

Packets don't always melt 2
The product is good when it functions properly. I have had many instances where the packets do not melt in the dishwasher and my water temperature is set very hot. I am not sold on the product because of the issue with packets not melting.

Cascade 2-in-1 Action Pacs Dishwasher Detergent

Cascade 2-in-1 Action Pacs Dishwasher Detergent, Original Scent, 32-Count Bags (Pack of 5)

Customer Reviews

Cascade 2-in-1 Action Pacs - Superb5
This is the 2nd time that I've order Cascade 2-in-1 Action Pacs Dishwasher Detergent, Original Scent, 32-Count Bags (Pack of 5) - these little packets are so easy to use and my dishes sparkle! It's less expensive than the grocery store and they're shipped directly to my house! I'll order them again when I get down to one bag.

Work as described.5
I feel pretty bizarre writing a review for soap. It works as described, and the price is better than in the grocery stores.

Side note: These come in a plastic pouch that dissolves in water. That means that you should not handle them with wet hands, and you should not tear the plastic. Simply put the pouch in, and it takes care of itself.

This is clearly written on the packing, but I know not everyone will read it.

First product to battle soap build-up5
This is a wonderful product. Not only does it clean the dishes, it has also gradually degunked our dishwasher from years of hard water soap build up. I used to have to disassemble and clean filters and spray wands no matter whether I used liquid or powder. Now, the dishwasher is clean, the filter doesn't clog up, and the dishes look better. Wish I'd found this solution sooner.
